Happy Spring Break! - March 24, 2009

Music, Surf, and Baseball!

Carmen's back for a couple weeks and Happy Daylight Savings Time! - March 7, 2009

Carmen is back from India, then he'll be moving to Homer, AK on the 23rd of March. Fred was cool enough to let Carmen come on down and play the next two weeks with us (for old time's sake!) Thanks, 'Fret'!

Happy Daylight Savings!

Facebook and Happy Valentine's Day! - February 13, 2009

I just got hooked up on facebook...I have to admit, I had a blast looking up friends from the past and the present.

Also, I want to thank the great guys who have been playing in The Dale Inskeep Band. David Ford has been incredible on electric guitar. Fred Corbett and Bill Berrian both are great bass players. Tom Beckstrom and Mike Carrillo are both insane on the drums. What an honor it is to have these great musicians to play with...Thanks guys...y'all rock!

We've got the final mix on the new album and have been really digging it. We're a bit slow on the art/cover/etc...but we'll have it figured soon, then keep you posted when it will be released. I know you'll love it!

Thanks for all the support!

Meitaki,

Dale

Sunshine, Sunshine, Sunshine! - January 21, 2009

The weather has been incredible here on the South Coast of Oregon. With so much of the country freezing, it's been extra nice to have sunny days in the 60's.

Tomorrow night is Carmen's last time playing with us for some time. He is off to India, then to Alaska and we wish him the best on his travels.

Fred Corbett, who is an incredible bass and banjo player, will be joining us next week. I have always respected Fred's ability and professionalism and look forward to playing music with him in the future.

Thanks to everyone who has been coming down on Thursday evenings at the High Tide...there is a special menu for Thursday nights and we always have a great time. I hope to see you soon!

Kia Manuia,

Dale

Happy New Year! - January 1, 2009

A little article in the local news... - December 6, 2008

Thanks!!! - November 24, 2008

I often think of all the things I am so thankful for as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday. I wanted to take a moment and thank all of the folks who have been visiting my website and checking out my music. Every month, since I started my website, the number of visits has grown. A year ago, I had about 600 visits in November and I'll have over 3000 visits this month. For me, it's never been about making money for my music, but rather sharing my music with others. It is so great that more and more folks are listening to the music I write and play...I am truly blessed.

Thanks Everyone...

Dale

Back Home Again... - November 13, 2008

We had a great trip to Austin and WImberley, Texas. The weather, food, drink, music, and people were all fantastic, or as David says, Super Fantastic. Thanks to Dan and Denese for hosting the gig at the Wimberley Inn...a great place to go. Thanks to all the great folks in Wimberley for coming and listening to us. We enjoyed ourselves.

Mark and Andre from The Congress House were great to work with on our new CD project. We cut 13 songs that we have not previously recorded and are anxious to here them after they are mixed and mastered. We think it is going to be great. I think it's going to be called "Three Hands on the Wheel"...

We'll miss Dave tonight at the High Tide, but the full band will be back on our regular schedule next week.

Come on down...

There's a chill in the air tonight... - October 25, 2008

Come on down and hear us on Halloween at the High Tide...Costume or not, it will be a great Friday night!

We're getting pretty excited about our upcoming trip to Austin and Wimberley, Texas. We're going to play at the Wimberley Inn in Wimberley on Sunday, November 9th and take donations to help one of the Collings Guitar workers who was hit in a car wreck. We're planning on having a great time seeing some good friends and recording a new CD with Mark Hallman of The Congress House.

See Y'all Soon...

Dale

Just back from Northern California - October 6, 2008

We had a great time this past weekend at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. There was so much great talent in one place it was amazing.

Thanks to all the folks in Arcata (Humbolt County) who listened to us play our music last Thursday at Humbolt Brews. We had a great time sharing out tunes with all the great folks of Arcata who were there to hear us...what a great crowd. Thanks, Andy for having us! If you ever get a chance to visit Humbolt Brews, it's a great place to hang and they have an incredible beer selection...I surely enjoyed the Hemp Ale.

Come see us at Octoberfish this Saturday at the Old Charleston School.

Kia Manuia,

Dale

Keeps Getting Better! - September 5, 2008

We've been playing a lot of music and are getting excited for a couple of trips to share our tunes in different parts of the country. We will be heading through Northern California on our way to San Francisco to play some music the first weekend in October. Then, the second weekend in November, we will be flying to Austin to have some fun playing in Wimberley, Texas and Austin, Texas and we will be recording a new CD at The Congress House in Austin with Mark Hallman.

I'll keep you posted...

See Y'all soon!

Charlie Tuna Special! - August 18, 2008

Thanks to all who came to listen to us at the Charleston Seafood Festival. It was great to see all the regular faces around Charleston. The cool, foggy weather made it a great place to get away from the triple digit temperatures in the valley.

This Thursday will be Danny's last gig with us for a while as he's moving to Eugene. I'm sure it will be a special night....Come on down!

Kia Manuia,

Dale

Welcome To Fogust! - August 5, 2008

Here we are at the beginning of August on the South Coast of Oregon, and it didn't let us down...Full of Fog!

Come on down to the High Tide on our regular Thursday nights and get ready for the annual Tunnel Point Party on Saturday night! The next Saturday, we'll be at the Charleston Seafood Festival. Don't miss August 21st at the High Tide as it will be Danny's last gig with us before he moves to Eugene. He'll be back from time to time, but I know he'll do great in Eugene!

We sure enjoyed opening for ''Or, The Whale' last Friday night...Cool band if you ever get a chance to catch them.

Kia Manuia,

Dale

I'm Home... - July 26, 2008

Meitaki to all my friends in the Cook Islands for another great visit. I've been in LA a couple days, Bend, Oregon for a week and while it's great to get away, it's even better getting home. I used my new Kioloa paddle today in some fun, small surf and had a great couple sessions while the family hung at the beach. I love Coos Bay, Oregon! I'm sitting in with the band for the Little 'Ole Opry tonight on mandolin and have a fairly easy-going week.

The 17th of July we had a record night at the High Tide as a part of the Oregon Coast Music Festival...Thanks to all the many folks who came out to support us and the OCMA! You rock!

Get ready for the Tunnel Point Party coming up...email me and I'll give you directions if you've never been before...One of a kind event!

Ka Kite,

Dale

Kia Orana, From Raro... - July 1, 2008

It's great to be back in the Cooks...so many great friends. I'm stoked to see everyone and I've set up a few gigs while I'm here. I went for a nice Stand Up Paddle around Muri lagoon yesterday after a few Raro Lagers....Kia Manuia!

It's All Good! - June 1, 2008

Thanks to all who came out to Rogers Zoo last night...we had a great time and played for almost 4 hours. We appreciate everyone who pitched in the cover charge that we gave to Danny, our drummer, for his college fund...he got a nice bit of cash last night.

I've had more visits to my website in May than any other month since I've had it up. Over 1600 visits from all over the world...thanks to all of you in Belgium, Germany, UK, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands for checking out my stuff...sometimes I forget that the www means World Wide Web. We are looking forward to when we get a chance to play for y'all in Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand....It may not be too far off in the future.

I'm continually blessed to have the great guys who make up The Dale Inskeep Band share my music...the chemistry couldn't be better. You guys rock!

Again, Thanks to all of you who are supporting my music...It is such an honor.

Meitaki Maata,

Dale

Meitaki Maata! - May 24, 2008

Meitaki Maata means Thanks Much in Maori. I've got my plane tickets for my annual trip to visit all my bros in Rarotonga and Aitutaki, Cook Islands. If you've never been there, you're missing something...

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has listened to, bought, inquired about, etc...regarding my new CD, Smile & Pretend. They have been selling well and I've sent several off to Europe, especially Belgium and UK for radio stations and promotions. Also, OASIS, which is the company I've used to put my music into production, asked me if they could use Smile & Pretend for their advertising materials...of course I faxed the agreement straight-away!

I've also seen a significant increase in the visits to my website from all over the globe...Thanks for checking into things and enjoy the music...I make sure all my CDs are available to listen to all the way through for free on my website...it's always an honor to share my music with folks!

I'm taking it a bit easy this holiday weekend trying to get caught up on some stuff, but will be playing on our regular Thursday night at the High Tide and at Rogers Zoo on Saturday the 31st to close out the month. We're charging $5 at the door at Rogers, then giving it all to my drummer, Danny, who is working hard to go to college....and, it's his birthday...Come on down and have some fun with us!

Thanks again to everyone...or in Maori....

Meitaki Maata,

Dale

Saturday night, we'll be playing at Waxer's Venue in downtown Coos Bay. There will be a variety of adult beverages and all four of my CD's will be available. The $5 cover charge will go directly to the Oregon Coast Music Association which we are very pleased to support. Come on down!

Meitaki,

Dale

Is Spring Really Here? - April 27, 2008

We've finally had a couple nice weather days, but they have been few and far between. It's been great playing music for y'all lately with all the boys joining in. What a great group of guys to be playing with...all good vibes. We'll miss having Dave with us next week at Waxers, but Carmen, Danny and Tom will be playing.

My new CD, Smile and Pretend, will arrive next week and will be available at Waxers during the show. $5 from each CD will get donated to OCMA as well as the cover charge. Come on down and join us for the fun!

Meitaki,

Dale
